CAD-A-THON is a time-bound CAD modelling and validation competition designed to simulate real-world product development. Participants will be given a problem statement at the start of the event and must: ● Design using CAD tools ● Validate using basic engineering principles ● Present a feasible and optimized solution The focus is on engineering logic, aerodynamic efficiency, and manufacturability, rather than just visual modelling.

Rules & Regulations

1. Problem Statement Release Participants receive detailed constraints and evaluation criteria. 2. CAD Design Phase Teams develop optimized wing models focusing on: ● Parametric modelling ● Airfoil selection and geometry ● Feature optimization ● Manufacturability 3. Analysis & Validation Participants validate their design using: ● Basic aerodynamic reasoning / CFD (if applicable) ● Structural feasibility checks ● Performance estimation 4. Final Submission & Presentation Teams present: ● Design approach ● Engineering justification ● Performance reasoning
