General Guidelines
- Participants must operate drones only within the designated race area.
- Unauthorized takeoff/landing is strictly prohibited.
- Pilots must follow all instructions given by event officials.
- Any unsafe flying behavior will lead to immediate action.
Drone Eligibility
- Only multirotor drones (4”–7” frame size) are allowed.
- Maximum takeoff weight: 2.3 kg (including battery).
- Brushless motors only.
- a)Metal propellers are not allowed.
b)4-7 inch propeller size.
- A functional failsafe system is mandatory.
- Batteries must be undamaged, secure, and compliant.
Race Rules & Recovery
- Each participant is allowed one race round consisting of 2 laps.
- All checkpoints/gates must be cleared in the specified sequence.
- Failure to pass any gate will result in lap invalidation.
- In case of a crash:
a)The drone must resume from the last valid checkpoint.
b)A maximum of 30 seconds is allowed for recovery.
c)Only 3 crash recoveries are permitted per run.
- The run will be terminated if:
a)The drone becomes non-operational, or
b)The maximum number of crashes is exceeded.
- Final rankings are determined by:
a)Number of valid laps completed
b)Total time taken
Inspection & Compliance
All drones must undergo a mandatory pre-flight inspection.
Inspection includes propellers, motors, wiring, battery, and failsafe system.
The organizing team reserves the right to deny participation if safety standards are not met.
Authority & Decisions
- All decisions made by the Race Director are final and binding.
- Any disputes must be raised within 5 minutes of race completion.
