Hack Helix is the flagship hackathon of Helix, designed to bring together some of the brightest and most innovative minds to build impactful solutions for real-world problems. It is a high-intensity, time-bound competition that emphasizes innovation, technical excellence, and teamwork.

Participants will collaborate in teams to ideate, design, and develop practical solutions across diverse domains. The hackathon encourages participants to move beyond theoretical ideas and focus on building functional prototypes that address real challenges.

With mentorship support, structured evaluation, and a competitive environment, Hack Helix provides a platform for participants to experiment, innovate, and transform ideas into tangible solutions while enhancing their problem-solving and development skills.

Rules & Regulations

1)Participants must bring their own laptops, extensions, and necessary development tools.

2)Teams must consist of 3–5 members.

3)All projects must be developed during the hackathon duration.

4)Use of pre-built projects, plagiarism, or unfair practices will lead to disqualification.

5)Teams must adhere to the problem statements and submission guidelines.

6)Internet usage is allowed only for development purposes.

7)Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if necessary.

8)In case of disputes, the decision of the organizing committee will be final.

Shortlisting Criteria

Teams will be evaluated based on:

1)Problem Understanding & Practicality Clarity of the problem statement and feasibility of the proposed solution in real-world scenarios.

2)Innovation & Creativity Originality and uniqueness of the idea compared to existing solutions.

3)Technical Approach Soundness of the proposed implementation, including tech stack, architecture, and execution plan.

4)Scalability & Impact Potential of the solution to scale and create meaningful real-world impact.

5)Team Composition & Role Clarity Balanced skillset within the team and clear distribution of responsibilities.
